Always fascinated by exploration and the mountains, I began running ultras as a city kid growing up in Chicago a full 11 years ago. Running has been a means to experience that profound and visceral sense of freedom that only fast and light movement can provide ever since. I went to undergrad in Colorado at CC where I progressively used running to get higher up and further out in the alpine. Moving east in 2020 for grad school at Cornell, I discovered the world of East Coast trail and mountain running which made me a lot grittier and which I really enjoyed. I went back to Colorado in 2023 to make an attempt on the Nolan’s 14 record which I had been scouting since 2018. Ultimately successful there, I have since built up my skills and fitness to move quickly in high altitude and high consequence terrain even further. While I have recently settled down in Santa Fe, at this point I have run and camped and extensively explored much of the country and have won races in New Mexico and North Carolina, Quebec and Italy. My racing experience ranges from 25km mountain races to the hardest Sky Running competitions on the circuit, and 100km rolling trail courses to the UTMB. I have set FKTs on roundtrip single mountain pushes, long technical ridgelines, and classic loop routes. I can help city-based athletes push their limits in the mountains and guide mountain dwellers to achieve their biggest race and alpine objectives.
